  • Jean-Jacques Perrey RIP.

Regardless of how good the music must be in the 2016 afterlife, this year is really pissing me off.

I don't even know where to begin on making a tribute list of his music, so please folks, fill this thread with that sort of stuff.

What a shame. Great musical legacy though, so be thankful for JJP.
I'll kick off with some obvious ones. The first thing I heard by him, which made me ask "WTF was that?"

In an embarrassing faux pas, I'll substitute my previous post with this corker

Alans' right, bang up some good'uns and celebrate an innovator.

      My favourite:

Half-way mock eastern jam stroke tv theme tune all set in a pond with croaking frogs.
Spirit Duplicator—collectable, charming, affordable... and also socially networked on FB / Twitter / Instagram.

Another musical legend and I was only staring at the record Fuz posted the other day pondering giving it a spin again. He must have featured on some on a lot of my music or mixes in some form or another over the years. What can you say he's one of the founding fathers of electronic music a true pioneer. RIP

This never fails to make me laugh:

This never fails to astonish me, the first thing I heard by him, off the Incredibly Strange Music CD:

A lovely man, met him once in Glasgow at a kind of Perrey & Kingsley gig/demonstration.
Took my copy of 'The in sound...'
along and he signed it in very much the eccentric and chaotic way you'd expect. I even met Bob Moog briefly and got him to sign it too (sensibly and clinically).
