  • deagostini - collect the Beatles vinyl

looks like deagostini are aiming at record collectors again after last years Jazz series.
looks like a nearly full run of Beatles vinyl, even including triple vinyl versions of Anthology and the BBC album, but also looks like tey are releasing Love on vinyl. I'm not sure this got a vinyl release previously? it also looks like they are taking the audio from the recent remasters. £9.99 for Abbey road on issue 1. £16.99 after for single albums and £24.99 for double / triple albums.

I bought Abbey Road in a spur-of-the-moment type thing in Tesco's on Saturday morning . I don't own any Beatles albums and probably won't be getting any more of the series. Nice quality though. Played it that afternoon while on bathroom/toilet cleaning duty. Sounded good. Even "Maxwell's Silver Hammer." I'm guessing "the End" is meant to finish like that?

Uncut featured Love in its 100 "out there" albums recently which made me intrigued to hear it.
