Jean le Fennec - Phantastic LP amazing french weirdo/psych

Yesterday at a record show i got this album in a trade. Its amazing but i can´t find that much info on it except it seems to be on many want lists, only place i found selling it was www.music-emporium.net who took 150euro for it.

There is a japanese (boot?) CD of it.

There is also a promo 45 that i (hopefully) picked up today on cdandlp.

Anyone got some details on the artist.

What kind of stuff is it?

Hmm, i think its a but similar to early gerard Manset etc. Psych pop with weird effects and such. Hard to describe

Jean Le Fennec - Phantastic

I'm the one who popped for it at 150 euros. I got the japanese cd-r and had to have the LP. Maybe I paid over market - but, I love this LP and it's not likely to show up on my shore (San Francisco). This is the LP that started me searching for anything produced by Roland Kluger (Chakachas, Nico Gomez, Andre Brasseur). All great things - but, Phantastic remains my favorite.
