    weird

    no idea! But postage at £15 is a wee bit steep too for a 45!!!!

    Very strange.... looking for a conspiracy theory (insomnia, yawn).... should be written about/by Paul Weller (husband at the time) or... well....she was a backing singer for George Michael - always a good place to look for a conspiracy

    Alternatively you could always ask the seller's psychiatrist.

    here are the lyrics, just in case you can read the 1 million pound answer within them:

    see the day:

    When you look at me
    tell me what you see

    Do you see no love at all?
    Or do you see in me what you always see
    In ev'ry girl that you fall for?
    I will show you how love is meant to be

    Just watch and learn and listen to me.

    Will you ever see the day?
    Heartache leads astray

    Good love will always come from me.
    Will you ever learn to love without a little doubt?
    Good love will always come from me.

    When look away
    is it mean to say
    That she haunts you night and day?
    And does it hurt your heart when I say:
    Let's start to heal the part that's been torn?
    Don't you see that I
    I'm really worth a try?
    And I say to you I know just what to do.
    Will you ever see the day? . . .

    Will you ever see the day? . . .
    Will you ever see the day? . ..

    Paris Match:

    Empty hours
    Spent combing the street
    In daytime showers
    They’ve become my beat;
    As I walk from cafe to bar
    I wish I knew where you are;
    Because you’ve clouded my mind
    And now I’m all out of time
    Empty skies say try to forget
    Better advice is to have no regrets;
    As I tread the boulevard floor
    Will I see once more;
    Because you’ve clouded my mind
    ’till then I’m biding my time

    I’m only sad in a natural way
    And I enjoy sometimes feeling this way
    The gift you gave is desire
    The match that started my fire

    Empty nights with nothing to do
    I sit and think, every thought is for you;
    I get so restless and bored
    So I go out once more;
    I hate to feel so confined
    I feel like I’m wasting my time

    started a topic What is it that I don't know

    What is it that I don't know

    You might have seen this eBay listing last week for Dee C. Lee's "SEE THE DAY c/w THE PARIS MATCH", a record that rarely makes it above the one dollar, pound or Euro mark.
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1
    I was rather surprised when the auction ended (without any bids of course) and the record was relisted at the same price...
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1
    Since the seller has zero feedback, my compasionate heart felt that I should tell this possible eBay newby that he either does something wrong in his sales strategy or should watch for typos prior to wasting money on listing charges...
    His reply to my really nice and friendly eMail:

    "You know why the starting price is a million pounds sterling.I know you know who she is singing to in SEE THE DAY AND THE PARIS MATCHI also know you know what I know.I'm up until 2am if you would like to get back to me."

    What is it that I don't get here?
Working...
