  • Googie & Tom Coppola

is that "shine the light of love" worth looking for?
i really like the air record from 1971. i believe coppola nearly wrote every track on that one, and googies voice of course is fantastic. so their "solo" lp has to be one hell of a record. true? i'm just suspicious of the year (google told me it's from 1980) i mean, 1980 isn't well-known for its "great sounding" releases.
should i put it on my wantlist anyway??

It's very different from the Air lp. Smooth modern soul, and a bit cheesy at times. Let This River Flow is probably the best track..a jazzy soul groover. Don't expect anything similar though.

Yup, sought after Rare Groove classic that... Think Ed's DJ sets, and you'll know what it's like!
