  • New Channel 4 Music Site.

Quick plug for the new channel 4 music site we designed and helped build.

They have an amazing feature which lets you search any programme on C4 and it tells you the music used.

    Dead useful.

The site only went live today so its not quite finished and the database isnt totally full. But keep checking.

Gotta say, that's impressive. - I'll be using that a lot in future!

It also makes you realise how lazy/cheap these producers are, picking a whole programme's music from just one record/compilation in some cases.
    Now this!

That is so true- many a post production music editor from the 70's just lugged around Brian Bennett's Drama Montage's!

C4 have got to be commended for their use of music (or rather the production houses making their content!) - The porn season they just on had some genius use of library.

You couldnt move for having a bit of mcNair's growling flute!

What a nice idea: C4 are also launching a music download service too - Sermad, are you going to be working on that one as well?

                  Channel 4? That's alright then.

I'm currently planning to kill many people employed by Channel 5 for using (a poorly remixed version of) Serge's 'Bonnie & Clyde' to advertise their forthcoming Clint (overrated twat) Eastwood season.

Irritates me every time I see it. First that Bailey's advert and now this.

By the way, I only watch Channel 5 for CSI. And NBA coverage (which the daft twats can't seem to get to start/finish as advertised, therefore my video tends to run out 5mins before the end of the game!! )

                  Is it the weekend yet?

Isn't that the instrumental of 'Nouveau Western' by MC Solaar, Ben?

                        It could well be, champ.

I wouldn't know as my knowledge of HipHoppery would fit on a very small pinhead.

Either way, it irks me and Eastwood is still a helmet.

And I'm seething cos I've had a few records pilfered and re-buying them's going to be a chore!

                          well, hello!

yes indeed, it's been a while.

I've been working on some real world stuff - an album due out at the end of June for a trombone-based side project and some commercial (ie uncredible) work for a football-related album due out at the start of the next season (which GHP would be interested in...).

So how are you doing? I don't suppose I should be surprised to find you lurking around here...

                              ah - thought he might...

I couldn't make it last night, as I was rehearsing. Next time though!
