Not on 7", but his live version of "Bullet" is cool, more of a twisted, extended workout (done live in Buenos Aires in 1970).

'master gunfighter' is pretty funky and only came out on 45. 'medical center' is brilliant and the version on the Verve 45 is much better than the LP issue (a different recording, came out on MGM - there are a couple of different pressings of the 45).

the daddy of the quality schifrin 45s is probably the dirty harry mash-up, also on Verve.

            Amityville horror

wasn't that released on a 45 on Casablanca? Obligatory disco version and it's a monster. I'll never see it though...

the Verve 45 of Dirty Harry was a re-recorded and re-arranged version of the original theme (which only came out in the 70s on that UK-only Soundtrack! comp LP). the Verve 45 featured King Errison on percussion.

one of the reasons why Ape Shuffle is so damn funky is that the rhythm section included James Jamerson on bass, Paul Humphrey on drums and Dennis Coffey on guitar!
