Pub quiz, Brillo style

I propose, once the Salmon's first floor bar is finished, holding a Brillo pub quiz, in the 'name that tune format'. We could all take turns to play one bar, then two, then three etc of a tune... Not a pissing contest, just for fun, splitting into teams - with a spokesman answering after each clip is played, what they think the tune is. Soon as one gets it right, move on to the next tune.

Each team takes turns to play the tunes - try and pick what they reckon to be stuff that's not over-hard, but not too obvious either.

Is this a dumb idea? Could be fun to do just the once, least before I leave for NY! Whaddya think?

I was always gutted that I never got to do those hiphop pub quizzes the Crabon Imprints didi a few years back. I thought that was a quintessentially English response: we love hiphop, lets have a pub quiz! I still dream about making up questions for a hiphop pub quiz... I'd love to do that.
Although I think a wierd gear/chazza fodder quiz might be a bit dull, I have to say... name ten members of Geoff Loves Orchestra etc... In my (admittedly hungover - Lord Finesse gig last night... Palmer wheres the photos at?) mind, the idea of having to answer questions about obscure and classic 94 era b-sides is infinitely more interesting, and potentially winnable. eg. Name just one member of one-hit wonders Ten Thieves? umm.. actually I can't, but I still think its a good question. .... now i'm just rambling...

It wouldn't be questions, Fin. It would be ID that track, name that tune style. More points for teams that get it right in the first five second clip, less with 15 seconds played etc... Get over your hangover and read the post properly! How sad is this thread? How was Lord Finesse?
