    You wouldn't let it lie...

For me (not in their entirety)...

    Battered Ornaments 'Mantlepiece' LP
    US69 'Yesterday's Folks' LP
Mickey Bronx 'Many Things To Do' 45 (best artist name and sleeve ever!!! )
'Gather The Mushrooms' CD, especially the Forest, Sandy Denny and Lesley Duncan tracks. Is it just me that's reminded of 'Tales Of Brave Ulysses' then 'Sweet Child Of Mine' by Trader Horne?

Nothing cos i`m at work, and musics not allowed.......
But last night i spun two early ZZ top Lp`s (oh yes!) that i picked up for £2 each in a Harrogate junk shop a few weeks back.
"Fandango" & "Tres Hombres" were the platters in queston.......

        Last night I played -

        Trudy Pitts - Eleanor Rigby
        Jean Dushon - Baia
Lyn Roman - Just a little lovin'
        Shirley Ellis - Nitty gritty
        Morgana King - Higher ground

        A liddle jazz vocalism. Nicely.

          Mahler's 9th symphony.

tubby hayes and paul gonsalves "don't fall off the bridge", a necessary follow-on to the above.

now, it's phyllis dillon's version of "perfidia". sun's out, and it's my birthday, so its time for something a little more energising.
