  • Breakfast

    There's two things I eat with disturbing regularity for breakfast. One is mashed banana and peanut butter on toast (crunchy peanut butter and a proper ripe banana is a must). The other is scambled eggs on toast which generally involves fried sliced tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and (if I have them) chopped olives, capers and fresh basil (full recipe available on request). What you eating for breakfast?

      I never used to eat breccie as a nipper. Up way too early, training an'all that, so would rely on elevensies for my first munchings of the day.

      Over the last few years though, I've become a creature of habit - 7.45am, Monday to Friday, it's a banana, small clutch of grapes, a pear and an alpen bar.

      Accept of course if I've been on the sauce the night before, where the canteen here do a very nice, relatively healthy (ahem) cooked breakfast.

                  I generally roll out off bed get washed and dressed in minutes and go otherwise i'd never leave the house.

                        This morning it was a strawberry smoothie (english strawberries, ice, milk and oats all whizzed up in the blender) then an espresso. Lovely.

                          actually this is what i do aswell, my breakfast normally is about 10 30 ish after ive woken up at work

                            i used to know a couple of girls who used to sprinkle speed on there cornflakes in the morn..real nice girls, it gets you up and keeps ya weight down
