And</a> how much does the 2LP reissue go for? £15?

I do hope Amir isn't going to feel Konned (ho! ho! - I kill me).

PS Relating to the JC Superstar thread, I picked a Deram version up, featuring Hawkshaw, Odgers, Ricotti etc etc. Utter shite. Avoid.

lucky old Teddy... nice album... wouldn't pay that for it though, and it's probably got another 100 bucks in it... US diggers are bound to bid high since Big Daddy printed a rather, er, 'inflated' price estimate for it a while back...

what's it like? (totally non clued up on this one i'm afraid)
but being a fan of kid loco's 'a grand love story' lp of a few years back, and knowing he's got an unusual taste in music, it's gotta be good right?.

              Yeah Lee, I'm, down too.

The Nottm branch of Fopp only seems to have the Godchild vs Kid Loco set and I'm not fussed about that.

              Let us know mate.

That reissue (Godchild vs Kid Loco) should have 2 records (at least mine does) one repress of the original and one of Kid Loco remixes.

Wasnt feeling the remixes that much myself, (remixes by numbers, nothing really to add) but the original made me smile, kinda uptempo Placebo stuff, tight playing etc etc.

Its well worth picking up, 7 quid is a good price too (paid 14 for mine) &#36579.99 is bonkers thou, seen it in Paris for 70 euros odd.

This is totally crazy, is that a golden press of Godchild ? This is not serious. I found this one twice and I had difficulties to sell it for 100gbp.

Heard of this but never actually heard it.

                    Is it any good?

yes - it's #### good. 3 or 4 heavy duty funk tracks with an afro feel, but more funky and french than standard afro-funk.

i think it reached that price because of big daddy - seriously. it was issued on super-cheap Les Treteaux so the pressing is hardly wonderful - it's a real cheap as chips LP other than the price it fetches on the bay. imagine that - going into woolies in the 70s and picking up 10 of those for 50p a pop. quite a markup!

Sorry guys - went in today but they were all gone - it was the double &quot;Vs Kid Loco&quot; thing but you can just ignore the Kid Loco mixes (I do). I'll keep 'em peeled for more.

Same story in the Nottingham branch. There was a copy (or two) in stock last week, but mysteriously disappeared while this thread was up and running.

Fopps can get them from the distribution company I work for, and we've still got a few on the shelf, so tell them to re-order. (I'd love to offer to do mail-order, but we're wholesale and it just becomes ssoooooooo complicated when we try to retail.)
