      Thanks technical support! I'm sure your brain is bigger than your avatar is letting on!

      Nice design by our own John Stapleton btw...

          Really wish I could reach it but busy with 2 gigs.

          One at the Blue Room, Walton Road, Hampton Court from 8-11pm. The other at Bacchus Nightclub, Union Street, Kingston from 11.30pm till 2am.

          If anybody feels like staying Southside than making the trek to London, that is!!

            I thought your Blue Room gig was a different day, Greg. Damn! it's hard enough to hear decent funk in London without clashing!

            Gotta say though, it sounds like 'deep' south london and essex seems to have some serious funk going on... maybe have to take a trip down them parts sometime soon..!

              No, trust me, his avatar is bang on. If anything, it overstates it...

              Don't call it a comeback... H, N, and the number 7.
              Ok, it's a bit of a comeback, I suppose...

                      Excellent news!

                      Must have been good, cos Mr Cope hasn't signed in yet - alcohol induced stuper, me thinks.

                        ouch my head hurts.

                        still, free copy of Arthur Monday* from Fryer, and i finally got to hear the infamous Rokk (i think).

                        * - reissue that is!

                          Blimey, my head hurts too!  An absolute banger of a night - great work Nick.  Cheers to Fryer, Gerald, Si and Nick for playing stoopid fresh tunes all night, and spilling the beans on every record.  "Huh, what's this?".  Still can't remember a damn one of them though. (But yes, we did hear The Rokk!  This week Deep Funk DOES equal Rare Groove).

                          "So, is THIS funk???"

                          Time for caffeine...

                            ... and a great night it was too. The free records were flowing & Rokk twas played not only once, but twice! A few of us basked in the glow of a Choctaw label in a brief display of nerdiness and a good vibe prevailed throughout. Thanks to everyone for coming down and a special cheers to Si Cheeba, who played a great unannounced little latin boogaloo set that got feet moving – not to mention Fryer & Gerald for playing some flippin excellent toons. See you on the 17th ...

                            I think I may have the bends somehow... Meant to be writing a feature on DJing software, but what I'll really be doing is nursing a sore head, watching Gangs of New York...
