Don't think it's gonna work on a serious warp, but may help out on those anoying minor ones where you just about get away with it.

Nah. I've currently got some warped records underneath my 30kg monitor. I'm hoping that a few months under there might have the desired effect.

I remember many years ago taking an LP and placing it on
a flat thick piece of glass and then putting another large piece
of thick glass on top of it and then placed an old tube amp
either on top or bottom, I can't remember top or bottom order

Well, it worked beautifully. The gentle heat of the amp
thru the glass warmed it up a little and flattened it out
perfectly. Worked overnight in fact

Try to picture it in your mind and you'll figure out the order
of the glass/amp thing

I used to live with an indian lass who told me that her dad's records were always warping in the 40 degree Lucknow summer heat. He would stick them between two bits of glass and leave them on a flat sunny surface then take them out when it was dark. Never got round to trying it meself but it sounds reasonable enough.
