Anybody ever bothered insuring their vinyl?
What kind of deals are there out there? Regular household won't really do the trick as far as I can see.

Ah, this old topic again - bloody difficult, bloody expensive and nigh impossible.

I'm still looking for someone reasonable. I asked AXA antique insurance if they would cover records and they said yes but their minimum premium is £1500 / year!!!

The very posh lady on the phone said they tended to insure things in the hundred of thousand range and my paltry collection (by her standards) wasn't worth it.

Not ideal as they have no specific vinyl cover. You put yourself on the home studio package I guess. The record cover is only at a total loss ie if they all go up in smoke.

You have to submit an itemised listing and get them evaluated and supply photo's...hmmm

Still looking...
