Just a few words from Sie and Towny to say a big cheers to Hadrian E for hosting a top weekend in the “Home of the Musk Sausage” in deepest Suffolk.
Much fun was had, a special big cheers to The Boy Rodders who was decent enough to allow us to watch the “Scratch’” and “Call It Fresh” films on his spankin’ DVD playa and to allow all the lads to have a bit of a ‘power kip’ on his sofa :0)
Anyway, Sie remembered his camera and Towny put this little photo montage together to share with yÂ’all some of the delights of the weekend. Enjoy!

Check out the laser show. It starts at 10pm and is still on at 3am, calling the unsuspecting from miles around like moths toward a lightbulb, calling you to “Club M”. No we didn’t… Although it does give you quite a shock when, what looks like a Jean Michel Jarre concert, beams you up when you get within 4 miles of Newmarket.
Bleery Saturday morning starts with what else - but a Newmarket Musk’s buttie! Twinned with a quick read thro’ Wax Poetics, and a rifle through H.E.’s racks, then the vultures are ready to go… Hadrian takes us to a record fair, and sets a record by having us turn up approximately 168 hours early. Not to worry, purely by chance (and saving H.E from a kicking on the High Street) within 5 minutes we bump into a local record collector/dealer, and we’re given unlimited access to his stock. But then, Towny pipes up “what’s in the other shed, mate ?”. “Whaddya think” comes the reply. Sie and Towny go to investigate….
“Sie, pass me the f*ckin’ camera” says Towny. Jeez! It took the three of us a good couple of hours to dissect the contents and share the spoils. Great start to the day.
We hit one or two shops in the area, then proceeded to the glory box that is… Milky’s basement. A good few hours checkin’ out a load of sealed US 12”s from ‘80 to ’90 had all three of us well busy. Slim pickings this time, but what was found was top-drawer stuff…
Sunday morning is warm and sunny and the booters were in full effect. First one of the day was the best, with all three of us finding stuff. Special mention for Towny who walked off with a couple of cans of Krylon of all things! (and a right tasty Eddie Cano LP

Slap up lunch to finish, sunburn from the beer garden and it’s time to make the long journey back up north. ‘Til the next time, and it’s over to the Rainy City next…
