Regular visitors to the VV site and Blaxploitation.com might have been wondering why we've been so quiet over the last couple of months. Well, the time has come to announce the reason why... Licorice Soul Records!
Licorice Soul Records is bought to you by Sie Watson and Chris Malins of www.vinylvulture.co.uk and Ed Griffiths of www.blaxploitation.com.
Licorice Soul Records is a new UK-based record label dedicated to reissuing the very best obscure British and European dancefloor funk on high quality, strictly limited edition vinyl formats.
All Licorice Soul releases are officially licensed, remastered from the original master recordings and produced to the highest standards. We pride ourselves on going the extra distance to make our releases stand out from the crowd and to this end Licorice Soul provide articles on our website to accompany each release, giving personnel details, rare session photos and exclusive interviews from the artists involved in the making of each recording.
