• The knobbliest knees in funk

'Ello - just a quick note to say thanks to the vultures who came to HF&S last night. It was good to see everyone - sorry I didn't end up having much time to chat ...

Cheers for clapping and whooping appreciatively in all the right places

Damn it was hot though

Bravo to Nick, Jonny and Fin for a mighty fine selection of tunes ...

I'm off to gather up some tunes for a Groovetech show this afternoon ...

Like Breakestra without the po faces (i.e. even better) - that was sheer class Rubs.

Sorry about the 'best wedding band in the world... ever!' comment but if any Vultures are tieing the knot in the near future...
You freeking scientologists are all the same, quible, dribble and then demand ice creams. Ohhhhhhhhhhh.

funny you should say that....

see me monday at the brillo thing, as there may be a conversation to be had, about band, and/ or about dj requirements.

i'll be the chubby scottish bloke in the ray barretto t-shirt, with a tradable copy of the soultors 45 that some seem to care about....

thanks for the night guys. Not knowing any of you I was sitting in the corner with a mate of mine.

yes it was damn hot.

Enjoyed my quick chat with the drummer and when are we going to get super guder breaks vol 2? I mean its messed up my filing system. I cant have number 1 then jump straight to number 3. It does not compute.

Another thingie maybe someone could help me with. One of the dj's played a funky track with the bass line of coltrane's - a love supreme. Wicked. did ask a few cats but in my drunken haze I forgot.

Ah, you should've introduced yourself! As for the track you mentioned, well it wasn't me - so it was either Fin or Jon, both of which frequent this forum, so you should get your answer sometime soon....

Cheers all - I'm not sure I'll make brillo tonight - was hoping to combine with some 'business' meetings in the west end, but they're happening tomorrow now, and it's too hot to get back in the car

erm, yeah - if you're getting married, you know who to call ...
I think ...

Nice to chat to you too eclipsechaser - sorry about that Vol.2 business

Thanks for making us feel so welcome - we'd be delighted to come back in the winter. It'll be time for the Mr.Güder logo cardigans by then I think
