I picked up this slightly odd Dutch OST from 1974 recently. It's got some very nice sampley moments as well as some great, funky dramatic numbers.

I'd never seen or heard of it before, so can anyone give me the lowdown on it and the composer, Louis Andriessen?

    Cheers!

PS - Talking of Dutch soundtracks, I *REALLY* need a copy of Rogier van Otterloo's 'Grijpstra en de Gier' OST....

Don't know this OST, but he's mainly a contemporary classical composer, usually spoken of among the likes of Steve Reich & Arvo Part, but maybe a bit more abrasive in sound than them: there's a pretty comprehensive discog & short biog here:

He used to be discussed in the Wire magazine quite a bit, which I guess gives an idea where he's coming from!
