Found a load of lps by this geezer (i nearly got some of 'em for the covers alone),can anyone reccomend any good ones or, is his music sadly lacking the required goods??, some of them seem to be awash with covers, whilst the later one's feature more of his own compositions. Any help would be mint, nay superb!. Thanks.

yeh!, thats the doobie mate!, did a quick net search 'an apparently one of his lp's is in the rare lp's 'for sale' section of Jazzman Gerald's hallowed pages (on the Liberty label), for around 20 sov's, so the fooker must have the funk/breaks somewhere??, and he does look like a fookin' John Holmes wannabe!

There's one of his called "Disco & Love Themes of the 70s" or something like that which is okay... sleeve is a rather bad painting featuring, of course, a tender rendering of that gruesome visage.
It's not great, but it's good enough for a quid. Has an original called "Soul Ballet" (?!on it which from memory is pretty okay if a bit slushed up in parts. I think there's a cover of Superstition on it too which is a rather amusing arrangement.
He also has a Movie Themes one (can't remember the name, has a green sleeve with film frames of his malign little satyr face) with some Hair tunes on it which would be good if whoever did the mixdown hadn't been such a circus clown (i.e. drums are quiet as). I wouldn't bother with that one.
So that's the only two of his I've ever picked up anyway...*
