well, I now know where the Big Daddy in Bigdaddydan came from ::

thru the slot come the innocuous looking CD, put it in the player and nearly blew me speakers!! a fine selection of older school hip hop classics mixed in with their 70s counterparts, the highlight being the mix from PE's "Don't believe the hype" into Synthetic substitution - tight like longjohns.. top stuff!!

still waiting on LDJB's - maybe the postie nabbed it

      Cheers for the props Rolex!!

Your mix was also 'the shit' - any chance of a tracklisting ?
Stop wasting your money on records and get a proper hobby.

        I'm still pissing around...

I have tendered my apologies to my swap-buddies already however. Currently my mixer is in the shop (about time I chased them up actually)... along with my CD player and my car, as it happens. And I need new stylii. Seems the warranty on all my worldly possessions has elapsed simultaneously.
Luckily my crates have no moving parts or I suspect they would have malfunctioned and spilled all my records across the floor by now.

The plus side being that since I'm in serious mix withdrawal, when I finally get around to it I expect I'll spend a fair bit of time doing a decent job of it.

I had 2 successful exchanges glad to say! I now have 3 fine CD mixes and a tape that are currently in heavy rotation in my car. Sent them CDs in exchange as well. Best of all, most of the stuff is new to me so I've had a great time listening to them all.

Yup, looking forward to that mix Formigo (you've still got time to pip me to the post - haven't finished polishing yet...   ). And I haven't forgotten you Dr. Kraken - I'll be mailing your tapes at the same time as Formigo's (seeing as they'll be identical). Just trying to match up to the fine CD's you sent me!
You freeking scientologists are all the same, quible, dribble and then demand ice creams. Ohhhhhhhhhhh.
