  • Some gig action for Friday 25th April

A little London gig action to tell you guys about.

Friday 25th April sees Hogwash collaborate with Club Shelter to bring you an evening of funk at Club Aquarium, Old Street, N1.

The funk will be flying from all angles from rare to classic, library to blah blah blah.

    DJ's charged with bringing Hoxton into disrepute are;

    Belson
(iddy biddy 45's played by a biggy wiggy fella)
    Jay 'the brew' Stirland
(bald soul brother #1 and consumer of 6 pints of Murphys)
    Jon Rascol
(the classics overflow his box like women from his bed)
    Wrong Tom
(label chief of beat label Halflife records & beanie hat wearer)

    Doors are from 10pm til 4am, it's a fiver before 11pm, 8's after.

Check www.thesoulset.com for the full speed.

Email me at [email protected] if you require to G to the L.

Will do, sunshine - and yes. Remember to bring your speedos - the gaff has a jacuzzi for post dancefloor shenanigans.

Just bringing this one back to the top one more time.

Everybody that's got in contact with me is sorted as best to my capabilites.

            Anybody else is most welcome.

Also, if tonight is a success, we could find ourselves hosting a fortnightly or at least more regular funk affair at this dapper venue.

            Thanks, all.

Thanks for coming, you crazy guys - glad you liked the tunes, and that the sofa was particularly comfortable.

A chat with the Shelter boys at the end of the night has led me to discover that they're in a spot of bother with the venue - no s***, Sherlock!! So, we won't be hosting back there again in a hurry. Plenty of other things a gwan, mind!

Good luck hunting on the Laurence, Sermad - a toughy!

Oh and as for the chips - highlight of the night, you kebab smuggler, you.
