    I assumed it was Joe Cocker in the sand and Robert Plant approaching Boy George from the rear (so to speak).

      it's quite possible that that kind of version exists, but as far as I'm aware, Gainsbourg never made much of a splash in Japan, hence dearth of cover versions ...
