I went to the first car boot (in the country?) of the year which had huge gaps between sellers, a one way system around the field, hardly any vinyl but... I did find a football for my dog Ruby so she'll be very happy to destroy it when I see her.

Part of me thinks "great, a sign I can finally get back to my record/book/dvd hunting ways again" but a one way system around the field? Christ, that makes a depressing post suicidely so. Welcome to the new (ab)normal.

I picked up some Bowie bits but these 3 were the pick of the finds at my first ever Monday car boot!

a test pressing by mid 80's folk band

private pressing by hairy rockers Terraplane (I took a punt on this as he wanted £6 so I offered £5 which turned out to be a good deal)

the only single by 2 out of 4 Rutles

After work down in Fremantle today I had 'time on my hands'.

I probably would have punted even without the sleeve's promise of exotic percussion.

Not much on the web about this...

Also saw a copy of the Baker Street Philharmonic "Yesterday's Dreams". Do we still buy stuff like that?

Scant web comment on that. What have I been missing?

Happy to swoop on the BSP if anyone wants a copy (might be a while before I am in the UK again, though).

I need to relisten to the rest of that Baker Street Philharmonic LP, owned it since the old VinylVulture days and had no idea there was a cover of The Rattles "The Witch" on there until I looked on Discogs.

There is a dearth of Brit easy in Osaka?

                              Or not your thing?
