      Today's and yesterdays market

What are the odds finding three times an in demand modern soul record in one weekend . Two days, three crates and three euro ... All in a great condition.

Thunderstorm ST ... Dutch only release of an in demand modern soul record, features Billy Jones on vocals. Two spare ones!
      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5webOW43Lvc

      And another great find ...

Macreel Step it Out ... Monster Folk album, very sought after, private press recorded in my hometown, had one last years, second copy found so far. First I felt bad about the woc, but when I google'd the record I found out it was an autograph , I found one on GEMM with the same autograph. Not my cup of tea so if someone is interested let me know.

Groove Holmes New Groove ... Great Song called "No Trouble on the Mountain"
      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3DXF9owSQI
Zap Pow Revolution ... Hard to find Trojan, one funky track, plays overall bit rough except the song where it's all about
      http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hOfeDCDaq4Y
Quincy Jones Body Heat .. Classic, which I didn't had in a good condition
Various Artist Classmates ... Buddah records compilation, artist like Five Stairsteps, Henry Lumpkin & Timothy Wilson
Combo Ronny Buhre Hello, Good Evening ... One Tracker, private press of a dutch showband, the rest of the songs is as worst as the picture
      http://www.whatiswrongwithgrooving.c...o/5A_DEIXE.mp3
Dizzy Gillespie Manteca ... Cheapo of a classic I don´t own yet

Nancy and Lee ST ... Found this so often, 6 or 7th one
Michel Petrucciani Trio Estate ... Good Piano Trio and a legendary man!
Prince Diamonds and Pearls ... Russian press, any fans here want it Not my cup of tea!
New York Rock and Roll Ensemble Reflections ... Not listened

Felt like hard work getting up this morning - after DJing Friday and Saturday night - and less than four hours sleep last night, but the record gods were smiling on me...

found some interesting bits which I'm going through at the moment, plus a few nice classical bits...

        ASD 254, ASD 370, SAX 2260, and SAX 2266-8
We know when a mate buys it for you too.

I like the sound of the whole LP to be honest Alan but agreed 'I was Born' is a definite high point.

This was sitting in a local shop for like £4 for a looong time:

But I just never bothered listening to it.

Then I go to Crillo and hear a great track from it (cheers Jonathan if you're a-lurking 'round here).

And now the record is sold.

So I go to a thriftshop browsing the James Lasts and crap. And... find a copy for 75p thank you very much vinyl gods!

                                Insane version of Summertime:
