  • November Finds

Just returned from my annual Euro dig with Grope.

Visited Wiesbaden, Mainz, Saarbrucken, Metz, Nancy, Dillingen, Frankfurt, Karlsruhe, Pforzheim, Stuttgart and Brussels. (if you want any info on these cities check out Grope's entries on Soulstrut's city guides.)

So onto the finds, LP's first:

    45's

Nice stuff as always! Who's in the picture with Donvan and Grass Roots - I don't recognise either of those LPs.

          Picked these two up yesterday...

Scott Walker - Till the band comes in (Philips)
Dead chuffed to finally mint up for a couple of quid.

Principal Edwards magic theatre - Soundtracks (Dandelion)
Loving this, not too sure what genre it falls in, proggy folk!?

The green one's another Grassroots LP Lee mate.

I recognise the other one, but I can't think what it is!

I've never heard this so I can't comment on the record but that is a beezer selection of strides on display on the cover

Haha - I knew the green one was the Grass Roots as I have that one - I didn't know the one below it was them too - now you say it I can sort of read it

It's what I'd imagine some folks would call acid folk, but I'll probably be well off the mark as I know nothing about that type of stuff!

I usually buy everything I see by Yusef Lateef so picked this up on the way home. UK issue but was only 5 Euros.
