The last 15-plus things he's posted have been his 5000th post...

    It's a numbers thing.
If you're looking for a pristine copy then this isn't the one for you. The vinyl looks like someone has polished their brickwork with it and the label has been ruined by some fool with a pen.

It was tedious the last time someone did that. Now, it's just...

      • You have to man up to it. No point being the sort of person who wastes his life online and then try and make out that you're not the sort of person who wastes their life online.

That said, I am posting this from my Blackberry whilst soaring over a live volcano on a hand glider.

I'm surprised Doncaster Council haven't sorted that live volcano out, to be honest, its a bit of a health hazard.

              • Some more recent finds that challenge the definition of music.

Freddie Starr - It's Only Make Believe:

Rowan Atkinson with Angus Deayton - Not Just a Pretty Face:

Beryl Reid - Music Hall Singalong:

Freddie Davies - Mr Parrot Face:

This is a phrase I imagine his agent used to trot out every time Bernie was booked to race around a working men's club on his yellow comedy ostrich, in the vain hope that he squeeze another tenner out of them. Sadly, just because Bernie sings doesn't mean his should. On the evidence of this record I think the ostrich was the more talented of the two...

Bernie Clifton - He Sings As Well:

Barron Knights - Never Mind the Presents:

                Russ Abbot - Atmosphere:

Bert - The Best of Bert:

                        • Thanks Y1000..! I'm just leaving work now so plan on having a play thro' them all later tonight.

Chosen Few does have "Funky Buttercup" on it - I've got it on 45 too...

Silvertones was produced by Lee Perry and has a couple of his original compositions on it.

Detonators and Frankie Jones appear to be dub - think Detonators is British...

                          Lots to find out later...

                          • Natural Reggae on Bamboo has rocky steady version of Tyrone Davis I think, It's either that or a version of Am I the Same Girl.
