The Yaraandoo reissue on Votary/Roundtable is pretty damn fine, too. Great label.
    Wow!
Amazing stuff - I can't believe that they were producing this music with almost no knowledge that they sounded like bands in the UK and US - talk about simultaneous creation!

Is it amazingly rare and only findable in Oz?

There are certainly copies floating around Melbourne. Prices vary dramatically, though (AUS 70-150 range from what I saw).
The 50 Synth Greats LP is good, and obviously the title is inspired by TG, but Layer on Layer is a work of genius. One of those LPs that makes you want to throw out half your collection.

Something else to look out for then - and just when I thought I'd heard everything

Maybe tomorrow, I'll have to settle down
Until tomorrow I'll just keep on digging on

I'd guess so. It's on Melodiya, LM LP45.

EDIT: No it's not, a closer inspection reveals the label is Latvian Music and it's a German press.

                    Tracks are:

Thanks Alan, saved me digging up a clip. Also like the version of World is a Ghetto on there.

Cheers, looks like the same LP, then: just another case of the 'many different covers for the same LP' syndrome...

                      • I 'found' it on e-bay, but I'm insanely chuffed to have just bought an apparently NM copy of the Rodney Bewes 'Dear Mother, Love Albert' single - a long term want.

                            • had some jolly digging in the sun this week - scored two spares of Well Kept Secret as well, lummie.

but today I nabbed a nice stack of olde tyme NZ 7'' in unbelievable vg+ nick, incl a TANZ, our first record label (didn't know they did 7s, thought they were 78s only).
haven't listened yet, but one is Peter Posa, our Hank Marvin sorta, doing a shampoo commercial (takes good care of the family's hair apparently) and a few odds and sods like the Muppets' Mah Na Mah Na, erm, they aren't kiwis obviously.

but among the albums, I found this, The Brothers Four absolutely baddass version of Revolution.
