Such a great album - it's never far from the decks here. I think "Slow Death" is my favourite FG tune though...

and she told me she had lots more at home...

both flamin groovies just confirmed that i still don't like them.
sex pistols and other punk. i don't know really...
and then what has to be the last (or at least one of the last) swirl lps.
partly groovy country-rural business from '73. not very good though.
everything is mint...i wonder what kind of soft-punk her son was!

Groovy jazz with a great flow.

Later 1980 pressing. Not really listened to - needledropped a bit in shop, sounded spiritual and good.

I had no idea but apparently Jerry Garcia, Grace Slick, David Crosby and some others whose names I don't recognize decided to go Morton Subotnick/John Cage with a touch of Throbbing Gristle in 1975. I'm not sure what to make of it but it's odd enoug I couldn't leave it in the shop...

Sorry mate - work plus kids holiday got in the way, will take pics soon...
If you're looking for a pristine copy then this isn't the one for you. The vinyl looks like someone has polished their brickwork with it and the label has been ruined by some fool with a pen.

Lovely uptempo version of Coltrane's "Naima" on it. The brothers Grubb are/were cousins or nephews or something of Naima (Coltrane's first wife).

I'm 3/4 through listening to it now and the whole record is quite lovely.
