Ikebukuro Record Fair and a trip to some nearby shops netted quite a haul, though my back is killing me today.
Very pleased I took a punt on Johnny Harris - Lulu's Theme/ Footprints on the Moon. Cut nice and loud on 45https://oneboxrecordfair.wordpress.com/

London charity shops yesterday
Why oh why couldn't i stop myself buying 4 copies of the Cyrus Gabrysch record. I really don't know. The Midnight express is sealed.
A few random bits from some other shops. Liking the Irene Reid and the Creative Source is US replacing my UK copy. Bottom right is the UK press of Slam/Spank Spank by Phuture Phantasy Club.

Chuffed with the final couple of records I picked up at today's boot:
Mick Softley - Sunrise. Vinyl is a big upgrade from my current iffy copy, likewise the cover (no deletion hole). Absolute classic acid folk folk sci-fi psych folk thingummy.
Blood, Sweat and Tears - Child Is Father To The Man.
Before I got to that point, I cherry picked a large collection of 78s and walked away with a pile of stuff for a tenner. Love the way thsee look, so posting some pics... will spare you the George Formby Jr and Sr, etc.
Apparently the first Light Orchestra on the BBC c 1924, the J H Squire Celeste Octet
Kirchin 78 only
Charlie Barnet disc apparently withdrawn due to the estate of Jerome Kern objecting to the M. Ferguson trumpet solo!
Leadbelly Battenburg style:
Dizzy:
Gerry:
Good Time Jazz with Bunk Johnson:
Illinois Jacquet:
For your record requirements, including Earl Bostic, in the days when phone numbers only had 4 digits:
