Yeah it was ok but nothing amazing. Suprised at how sought after it was. Now if the woman that sold me all the US LP's calls me back i will quite happy as i have a feeling she has a lot more interesting stuff.

Some of these are from the tail end of last month.

Found these at the Record Bar in West Norwood (45s), a tiny local record fair, most of the jazz came cheap from a mainly 78 and rock n roll fair and finally a couple Howling Sounds in Ramsgate.

Nice write up there Mark mate!

What's the deal with two 'Studio 2' LP's, are they any good?

The Piano one has a good track on it. 'Rhythmic Walk' I think?

            aye - here you go

The other one is more sort of drum exotica - it's pretty good but you need to dig exotica really - I think I still have a copy but it used to be fairly sought after so it might go

I left a copy of that Bloobo last week as I thought nobody surely needs that anymore??

I've had that one bottom left on Youngblood (artist and title escape me) - sleeve is way better than the record sadly.

Thanks Lee, digging the 'Piano perfection', never seen it before, is it tricky to turn up?

Some proper store finds, Rotterdam ...

Annette Peacock - Been in the Streets too Long, been after this record for a while, cover is , also like the vibe of the record. Bit laid back avantgarde jazz vocals.

Isis, female funk vocals, got a few very good moments, seen it it often never picked it up before.

Jazz in the Penthouse, nice A&M cool jazz compilation, under of course.

The Sound of Feeling - Spleen, original Japanese release to replace my USA copy, this sounds so much better than my current release. USA version up for trade.

The Blue Yusef Lateef, performs on not only his tenor and flute, but bamboo and pneumatic flutes, tamboura, koto, and others ... great!

South African-born, often UK-based percussionist, with the great song Woza Cindi

Cheap compilation of her early work ...

                              UK press of Moondog.

Esther Phillips With Beck ‎– For All We Know, a Kudu release which was missing in my collection, great version of Fever.

Van Dyke Parks - Song Cycles, 2nd press USA, also a record I have been after for a while.

To be honest, a great cover in mint condition.

Georges Garvarentz ‎– Diamond Mercenaries, bit funk and easy listening, also a great cover to look at.

A later release of a good Nico Gomez recording Bossa Nova.

Gustav Brom, Gustav Brom Se Svým Orchestrem ‎– Polymelomodus, Big Band Funk ...
