I've been keeping an eye out Sie - I will turn it up. This is her best IMHO:

Great finds Ben. That Mike Carr used to command a few quid by the way. Nice one on the Terminator - I've only ever find one copy in all these years!

Yeah - it looks like a school lp. the Mondesir brothers have been playing since they were 12 according to one site.
There´s a singer called Sophie Osman who cut a couple of lover´s rock singles in the 80s-90s.
I´d guess it wouldn´t be too hard to track down some of those names on Facebook to try and find out more.

3rd album from The Litter. 1969. Moving into darker territory than their previous 2, which showed Brit influences, this one is more along the lines of The Stooges and MC5 in places. The mod/psych clothes have gone out of the window, and we're in scuzzy black leather land now. Guitars are set to stun.

Gary Mure from 65. Crack Up/ Sharp Shooter. Great instro double sider with dirty guitars, organ and whistling

Fuzzy organ, fuzzy guitars, wind, bells....oddball, excellent 45

From Memphis, Procol Harumish organ, strong vocal, great tune, can't find a clip.

            [IMG][/IMG]

What a tune. Their last 45 I believe. Heavy groover.

Not a "find" at all, a gift in fact, but worth sharing. LA label, Philly band,69 cracker. Cheers Col.

Thought I took a picky of this one, going mad!
Pre horn rock release from the Ides Of March. Easy find. Starts off with a familiar riff (The Tamrons, or later The Purple Things- Wild Man) and runs into a cool garage folky stomper.

Excellent ep from 91. A buy inspired by Svengali. Title track is a cracker. All are good though.

That keeps you from being a part of it all
Because you've got to be one with the one and all
You've just got to be close to it all

Wish I could remember where I've seen one in the last few months. It wasn't a charity or I would have bought it but perhaps a dealer and priced accordingly.

Let me guess - Bo Diddley is the only one with any musical merit?!

(Sorry, I've never encountered a decent Bruton album, although I'm assured they DO exist...)

I'm not sure mate - I've not had time to spin 'em but they are all early in the series so fingers crossed.

Andrew - I know what you mean - those above are are currently the bulk of the Brutons I own and as you will remember I had a more or less complete run at one point! Brian Bennett and Mr Hawkshaw provide most of the best titles in the series as usual but I bet theres some good electronic ones too. At the time when I had loads of them nobody was really interested in that sound (me included)....changed days.

The top one is the only plant related record?

Keletigui et ses Tambourinis are (they're still going, I believe) one of the state orchestras from Guinea. You might also like Balla et ses Balladins if the sound appeals
