some fine finds at the boots yesterday, a lot of Blues & Folk LP's and some weird oddities, like this...

released in 1975 there is more than a shade of Python & The Holy Grail on some tracks
        listen here : http://www.mediafire.com/listen/0fcs...Of_Knights.mp3

10" EP from 1958 shame about the tape around the edges but the vinyl is sweet

the pick of a run of Marble Arch re-issues

Coventry based singer/songwriter Folk from 1971

just had to pick this 7" up, but what a shame it's utter shite!

got those MFP budget issue Blues

a gentle Acid Folky duo LP from 1971 on Trailer. the tree is sparing the lady's width, a bit

I had never come across this before, also released on Trailer Records in 1970
the rear of the sleeve below, there is an excellent version of Alison Gross on side 1

A trek around the Barcelona shops (dissappointing - at least for 45s anyway - cheap enough though 2 / 3 euros a pop for most of this) and a brace in the post.

Los Sirex ep on the top left is my fave of the lot - 2 great garagey tracks - I came across 2 copies of this for a couple of Euros and now wish I'd picked up the 2nd copy- d'oh!

Nice Kinks cover on the bottom left ep

some spares (gone) and another Los Sirex - decent beaty pop.

cheap and via the post. Top drawer poppy psych with Hendrix connection.

I won this for 99p - I couldn't resist either the track title and the band name - it's not bad - beaty shadows style thing with a surf edge to it.

Final one from Barca - knocked off the wants list - not a pricey record by any means but I've never turned one up in the UK. Superb later period SDG dancer.

Good stuff Lee. One of my favourite SDG tunes.
Had to do a second take on HeadGardeners post.....I thought Bob Axford had a massive right arm for a couple of seconds. I reckon the girlie is eyeing it up because she reckons it's a slightly overdone kebab on the spit......it's been a long day, and my brain is still pummelled from Jim Jones last night. Ignore me.
Everyone tear down your own little wall
That keeps you from being a part of it all
Because you've got to be one with the one and all
You've just got to be close to it all

Would liked to have come across this lot at a boot fair. Garnet Mimms is a seriously good find.

You mean it's not a recording of a real ghost?

Btw, you've gotten the best Dave & Toni album there. Too bad it has some a capella tracks on it. If it was all accompanied, I think it would likely be rated higher.
