Market was on needed some head space so grabbed some freebies:

The Crofters Live at the Water Mill Bit of cover damage and all the singnatures have rubbed off the back but am always interested in Private Press folk from around these parts I don't think this one is though. Engineered by John Hassell another Brit Reggae connection? may well be a London group then. :

Various Artists - More from the Vaults Various Rock and Roll on Liberty. The cover drew me in I have no idea whats going on here. :

I AM - A Celebration of Praises This is from Canada what I would think is a Hare Krishna record from 1983. I'll update if its any good. :

Bobby Goldsboro - A Butterfly for Bucky A guilty pleasure and kind of in joke around here. If I make a swap this year he'll turn up in it somewhere, be warned. :

It's on Sweet Folk & Country, a well established folk label active in the 70s and 80s, so not a private pressing.

I've seen this too, a very confused design inspired by the word 'Vault', I think.
It's almost as bad as the german edition of the Other Half's LP:

This is a christian record - a Hare Krishna record wouldn't have the Star of David on the front.
      On Word or Marantha.
You never know with this sort of thing, though my verdict based on th ecover only would be a no.

Cheers Miles, the signatures made me think PP straightaway Edit: Just had a look through the 'SFC' discogs page don't think I've come across anything on there before, I see a lot of what looks like more Cornish stuff 'Carrot Crunchers', 'John the Fish' etc, taking it they are a mainly Southern based label?

Yep its an odd one that Liberty and pretty staid track listing in the main.

The Xian is on 'Marantha' but a quick look at the track listing makes note of Psalms and words such as 'Shalom' so you may well be right in fact I'd say you were. Not listened, 'There but for the grace of God go I' and all that although I have dared a couple of their children's albums in the past.

Here in Sweden we have the wonderful invention of Swish. Payment on the mobile directly from your bank account to the sellers'. You punch in the sellers phone#, amount, and verify with your BankID pin. Seller's phone goes Ping! and verifies he has the money.
Most sellers have it here now. Good for either when you hit the motherlode, or for example last weekend when a really nice Who's Next turned up for 50p. I was all out of change and so was the seller, but I could swish over the 50p!

That could also be a bad thing. I'd be swishing left, right and centre.

What is going on in that Other Half sleeve? It looks like a still from some Trainspotting/Death Proof hybrid.

Went to some local sport clubs thriftshop in a smalltown and found three different generic sleeves in the Klub Plytowy Polskiego Stowarzyszenia Jazzowego series. Some kind of record club in Poland. Two of them are made from what looks and feels like thin brown cardboard, one has generic picture on the flipside too with no info, one has the generic back pic but with added print for liner notes and the third one is the same as the second but made from a different material with a white sleeve and a hint of gloss.

                        Tomasz Stańko ‎– Fish Face
Weird trio with Stanko on trumpet, Janus Stefanski on drums and American jazz drummer Stu Martin on drums and ECM synth recorded in 1973. Free jazz but with lots of focus on rhythm patterns and weird electronic sounds. Excellent, especially when Stu crams out some weird rhtymic sounds from the synth.

Wojciech Karolak / Michał Urbaniak / Czesław Bartkowski ‎– Podróż Na Południe - Moving South
Similar freejazz with structure. It's a full suite and excited me when I found it because I love early Michal Urbaniak electric jazz violin and this is also from 1973. Curiously there's a 4th musician at work here too, not listed as a band member at all but mentioned further down in the liner notes as "Ring Modulator and Phasing by Brian M. Taylor, England" so there's weird electronic sounds on this one too. Never heard the name, any of you Brits know who he is?

Studio Jazzowe PR I Soliści* Dyr. Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski / Czesław Niemen ‎– Koncert Podwójny Na Pięciu Solistów I Orkiestrę W Wykonaniu Studia Jazzowego PR I Solistów / Piosenki Rosyjskie W Wykonaniu Czesława Niemena
Phew, what an entry. What you need to know: first side is Jan Ptaszyn Wróblewski led big band jazz that has semifunky moments and some really free workouts too. There's 16 members in the band and many famous names like Stanko, Seifert, Namyslowski etc. Stu Martin turns up here too. This side is really good. The other side is Czeslaw Niemen and it's by far the most boring stuff I've heard from him. Sounds a bit like Christmas Carols performed backed up by piano and acoustic guitar. It's not even jazz. So for me it's a really good onesider.
"Only one thought left, that makes me come alive,
and that is you and me side by side, on the licorice ride"

The very same. Either you're my mother-in-law or the bloke who sorts out Oxfam's records, and I claim my £5

Nice one Brainbomb, gets an OOfffff from me as they sound absolutely bonkers!

'Brian M. Taylor' the name rings a bell. I could be well wrong and probably am but something is telling me he is some kind of synth designer/engineer. I don't know why probably the mind playing tricks.

I made a charity shop sweep yesterday and came up empty with records, but I found these two beauties.
A grey and a blue Spisar-Box for 45s to add to the two red ones I already have, I think I have all the colors now.

In the same shop there was a curiosity I've actually never seen, a 4-track cartridge. Luis Gasca - The Little Giant, sealed and all.
I thought about snapping it up for £1.50 but I have so much useless crap. It's not like I ever would be able to play it.
If it tickles anyone's fancy I could see if it still is there, in a box on the floor with a few tape reels.
