  • Another set of trade pizzles

Jimmy Castor "It's just Begun" (RCA) - sealed. Classic

Galt Macdermot "Hair Pieces" (Verve Forecast) - Check my Hair ISH on soulstrut for a full review

Jack Ashford "Hotel Sheet" (Magic Disc) - Same year as Blackjack OST. I reviewed this for one of ISH pages

Keem-o-sabe "The Electric Indian" (UA) - studio group with some pretty funky cuts. See Motown 67's review on Soulstrut for better description

Fania All-Stars "Latin Soul Rock" (Fania) - covers of "Soul makossa" & Viva Tirado". Live from Yankee Stadium '73

Lani Hall "Sun Down Lady" (A&M) - great soulful folk funk type piece.check for the track "Love Song"

Dave Pike "Let the Minstels Play On" (Muse) - "Professor Porno's Romance" & "Rabbi Mogen's Hideout"

Dave Gruisin "Winning OST" (Decca) - "Gasoline Alley" SEALED

David McCallum "Music It's Happening Now" (Capitol) - "House of Mirrors" Axelrod

Sons "S/T" (Capitol) - "Boomp Boomp Chomp" & "You Can Fly"

James Brown "Soul On Top" (King)

Ron Grainer "The ExcitingTelevision Music of..." (Stet) - late 70's british film/TV composer. A lot of uptempo funk/ disco television themes. Similar to a lot of Bruton Libraries I've heard.

Alfredo Gutierrez & Aniceto Molina "S/T" (OCM) - Mexican issued Cumbia/ Tropical album. pretty ill for those into that sound. Dope ass cover art of a mexican gogo lady getting down in watercolors.

Los Paladines "Volvere Del Mas Alla" (raff) Spanish bolero rock. Nice moody intros to songs. Seams split and taped together.

Crustified Dibbs "Bloodshed Hua Hoo" (Jive) - the only 12" R.A. the Rugged Man before he got booted from Jive. See the Egotrip big book of lists to see why.

hoping to grab some nice eurofunk for some of these. Reach via this post, or Private message

Nuts, you'll be gettin' a PM pretty soon.

          more pieces

Back In Time "S/T" (Cotillion) - 1977 disco group with open drumlines and a crazy cover of El Condor Pasa

Magda Franco "La Munequita Que Canta" (Caliente) - latin album filled with loungey greatness including a track written by Tony Hatch "llamame". Album plays with a bit of noise though, but no pops or skips.

Lourdes Baledon "S/T" (RCA) Loungey pop from Mexico. Think Peggy Lee from south of the border. Pretty fine pictures of this bird on the cover too.

McCoy Tyner "Song For  My Lady" (Milestone) - Typical Tyner from '73. Players include Charles Tolliver, Alphonze Mouzon and Mtume

Bobbi Humphrey "Satin Doll" (Blue Note) Mizell brothers production. Includes the classic Cuts San Francisco Lights" and "New York Tmes"

          Possibly more to come...
