Did you check the Youtube clips Bongo? I can't imagine that you will be disappointed. I was on the verge there for a while...

The singer is Chiemi Eri, a singer with a belter of a voice and plenty of technique to go with it. This is her 1968 LP 'Chiemi Sings Japanese Folk Music Deluxe', where she sings old Japanese folk and minyo songs with a big band backing her, in a variety of jazzy styles, including mambo. It's a very successful marriage of styles. I love Chiemi Eri, and have this and about 7 other LPs.

The record has been played a lot, as it should have been, so you'll hear a pop or two, but it plays pretty damn well. There's a bit of damage on the cover, but not much. It's a gatefold sleeve and it still has the poster attached inside! You can see all the info here:

Shipping is free in Japan, £5 elsewhere.

    Anyone interested?
Ooh yes, if that's ok - this looks great, and with an SK recommendation too

I'll be posting a gratis LP in the next few days. It'll be being launched from Osaka, Japan so depending on where you live, the delivery may take a while.

https://www.discogs.com/The-Ventures...elease/2190688 See For Miles comp of 'The Ventures' EP's. Few hairlines, certainly barely played. Have no problem sending all 3 of what I've posted to whoever wants to grab, usually chuck a surprise freebie in with these things.

Well if no-one is interested in the Adventure LP, may I take it? In the spirit of keeping this generous ball rolling ...

Right Ho, Someone should contact Bongo for that Adventure LP even as a trade or what ever it's great. Anyway I'm sorting through records in the garage so I'll keep offering up stuff until someone bites on something.

First up some 81 era Jimmy Cliff. Not played it in a while but looks in decent nick bar the odd hairline. I'll give it a play through and flag up if there's any probs.

    Holler if interested.

I'll take the 'Scott' Bongo if that's OK? Don't mind a bit of crackle especially with that vintage. I'll try and rustle something up in the next few days.

I already own a copy of Adventure but do urge anyone into good song craft to give it a go it's great!
