  • A few private / vanity / obscure bits

A few private cabaret obscurities, in case anyone needs.

The Hip Hooray Band - eccentric late 70's peculiarity with some funky flourishes (sadly disc only VG, plays with some very evident crackle in quiet bits ...)

Second City Sound - Classics to Carpenters - decent 'Touch of Velvet' and 'River Deep, Mountain High'

Black Abbots - Live! - Russ gets funky on "Live & Let Die" and "Soul Man"

Dallas Boys - Doing Their Own Thing! - inc. 'Funky Gibbon and "We're Having A Party"

Johnny Ashcroft Sound - Inc the nice funk of "Could've Been A Lady"

Cabaret at the Kingsley Leisure Club - inc the ABC Hit Band's "Magic Fly" and "Super Strut", one included in WMS comp ...

The Moonrakers Showband - The Parrot Collection, vol 1 - "Night Fever", "Rockford Files" and "Pick Up The Pieces".

Interested in psych, soundtracks, exotic grooves, libraries, evil synth stuff ... etc etc. Not expecting any mad raers in return, but it would be nice to grab say one nice LP for these and send them off to a welcoming new home.

I also have a copy of the Vic Palmer Combo - On Holiday! EP featuring a nice beaty version of "Soul Finger", if anyone needs that ...

This seller had a copy last year that seemingly didn't sell, maybe they still have it:
