  • Omega Red Star - From Hungary - Decca

Is anyone interested in Omega Red Star's From Hungary on Decca (mono)?
Released in 1968 it is there only UK record (as far as I know).
To my ears there are shades of the Kinks and the Small Faces - slightly psychy, slightly beaty with the odd 'eastern' flavoured moment

    Here are some clips

The cover is VG+ - some slight ringwear and dings to the corners but no tears, holes or writting
Record is VG+ - no scatches or marks - I would say EX but there is some background crackle in places which I'm fairly sure is due to dirt and would dissapear after a good PVA session

"Record collecting is no mere hobby, no innocuous leisurely diversion. It is a feverish passion bordering on dementia, driving those under the influence to irrational, compulsive, fanatical extremes."

    Fairly interested
Everyone tear down your own little wall
That keeps you from being a part of it all
Because you've got to be one with the one and all
You've just got to be close to it all

      Me too. Watcha looking for?

PS. Incidentally Omega Red Star did have two other UK releases on Decca in the mid-70s as Omega: 'Hall of Floaters in the Sky' and 'Time Robber'.
